Hi, it's me, Sigrid

AKA Cloghopper72

For some time I have been thinking about making some sort of a catalogue or file of all my fountain pen inks. I now have so many inks for my fountain pens that I sometimes forget what I have. Also what the properties are of each ink. I write a lot with my pens and inks but I also love to sketch with them. There are several ink and fountain pen blogs and websites. I wanted a blog/archive where the emphasis is on sketching with the inks. How does the ink behave with water and a brush for instance. How does the ink look fully saturated and how light can you go? Does the ink have "special effects"?

Besides the drawing, painting and sketching I also write a lot in my notebooks. I also have a bullet journal which is more like a diary than an actual planner. The most satisfying way to keep this journal is to use my fountain pens and inks. There is nothing like writing with a beautiful pen with a well tuned nib and a gorgeous ink on smooth paper. So in this blog I will probably also mention sometimes my pens and nibs that I use, have, buy or wish to own some day. If I can help others by showing them my sketches with the inks it would be wonderful. The fountain pen community is small but very friendly and fun.
